The fit is OK, but to be honest - I tend to gravitate to my Scott (road) helmet more often. Don't get me wrong, this is a fine helmet. This helmet also drips sweat into my eyes, where the Scott does not. It is a very quiet helmet. Wore it for a triathlon and took first place (some aero savings??).I am a big believer in safety and road cycling already has plenty of risks. All the Giro helmets I have bought have been light, comfortable and in this case a great value for the money. The Giro brand is world known and this helmet has plenty of vents to help keep you cool. The Grey Black color matches my bike paint almost exactly.I think it's reasonable to be skeptical of the advantages of MIPS technology. This is a good helmet, in any case. Compared to my previous helmet, this one has hardshell protection on the back, a more rounded shape, and no visor or other protrusions. It seems to me that those factors must reduce the risk from forces from various directions in different kinds of crashes, as MIPS claims to do. If MIPS also provides additional protection, great.Excellent helmet as usual from Giro. Bought this as replacement for another Giro that was cracked in a crash.Very nice looking and fitting helmet. The adjustment knob in the back ensures a good fit. I don't even notice the chin strap on this model. It drove me nuts on my last helmet.Haven't crashed yet, so a can't tell you if it can take a beating, but after reading about MIPS I spent a little more just to be safe.Good fit. Light weight. Well ventilated. Good value for the moneyVery pleased with this helmet. I don't have a lot to compare it against but I believe it to be very light weight, fits awesome and seems like very high quality. I'm happy.I'm impressed with the adjustability of the helmet on my head, allowing me to set the firmness with which the helmet fits. My only request would be that there were more ear protection.
