Long time skiier... first time helmet wearer. After skiing last year and realizing that more people wear helmets than don't, I thought I might be missing out on something. I figured I'd buy something that I liked the look of, and had the adjustability and comfort to wear all day, otherwise, it's a waste of money. There's a retaining strap (same as quality Giro bike helmets) that lets you fine tune the "snugness" around your melon and a vertical adjustment of where the strap crosses the back of your head which helps customize the front/back tilt)This helmet worked great... felt great and was super comfortable all day. In the warmer days, I pulled out the ear pads and opened the vents to keep my noggin cool, and on the colder days, used the ear pads and to kept the vents closed. There wasn't much of a difference between open/closed but I figured there was something to it to allow heat to escape when opened and retain when closed.I'd definitely recommend to anyone. Better safe than sorry, be comfortable and not look too bad while doing it.My first ski season wearing a helmet. I found it to be comfortable and easily adjustable. The small rotating knob at the back of the helmet must be adjusted without gloves. Its a stylish and sporty-looking helmet. My only objection is a design detail; a vertical lever to open/close the vents is situated towards the rear and to the right of the helmet. I've noticed other Giro helmets with a centrally located, nearly flush push/pull slide that is unobtrusive and more aesthetically pleasing. Nevertheless, I recommend the helmet.Fits perfect, comfortable and light. Works well with the Oakley A Frame goggle. The only downside is that the once the vents are opened, there's no mesh to prevent the snow from landing on your head. Also, the straps going around the ears cannot be individually adjusted, they are at a fixed length. This helmet is so much lighter than several other helmets that I have tried. I also love that you can open and close the vents for comfort. I don't feel as restricted as I would with a heavier helmet, and feel as though I can turn my head a bit faster with this helmet, as opposed to others I have tried. I took a few knocks while wearing this helmet, and it protected my noggin and didn't break/crack/crumple. (They were really hard hits.) I bought the blue one, and it looks just as it does in the photo. Great product.Surprised how much I like the helmet. Wasn't really sold on wearing a helmet after spending 30 yrs skiing without one. But, now I ski with my two young sons and figured it was the correct example. Can't believe I didn't convert sooner. Very comfortable. Would like to see more options for walkie talkie ear piece combo with iPod player. Right now have one ear rigged with iPod and other with ear piece for communication radio.I bought this for Spring skiing 2014. It provided plenty of warmth (it was Spring, however), it was very comfortable (I have a 7.5 to 7.75 hat size), and the color was great. Happy with the purchase. They're really lightweight and the only time I'm aware of them is when I need to take off my goggles. The vents are easy to close and open when you're hot or cold, but I haven't had much need for that even in varying conditions. Someone here said they were cold with this helmet on - I have not had that problem.Very nice, very good.My husband has yet to go skiing, but he was tickled with his purchase. He had spent quite a bit of time researching the different helmets, and felt this one met his expectations. The price was right, and it should work great for his skill level.価格、色、性能、サイズ調節、ゴーグルとの相性、すべて満足しています。
