I ordered this helmet for my niece for her 4th birthday along with a pair of roller skates. The helmet looks great and the shell feels really strong. It is a child size (age 5+), but she has a bit of a big head so I think it should fit her. The toddler helmets are too small for her, so this seemed to be the next size up. Don't get it confused with the Bell youth size (age 8+) helmet. This is meant for small children. Anyway, it looks good and sturdy and comes with thin and thick inner pads so it can fit properly and grow with the child a bit. The design is really cute and you can't see it in the picture shown, but the straps are black and white candycane like stripe which is a cute little detail. Overall, I trust multisport helmets with better head coverage/protection more than standard bike helmets especially for a small child learning a new sport/activity.Gat looking helmet, but on the small side. Fits my daughter who is age 7. Would recommend for 8 and under.We also bought one like this in YOUTH size (for 8 yrs+)This CHILD size helmet fits our 6 yr old daughter (47" tall) very well. Extra pads allow to adjust fitting. Shiny black--looks great and functions well.
