These helmets are supposed to arrive with a clear shield and a smoke shield. My box was missing the smoke shield. I tried to get company to send it to me, and they would not. I had to shell out another $40 to buy one separately. That was disappointing. Helmet is super great though! Comfortable and great functionality. Helmet gets an A.I saw this on a trip at a dealership. I had been looking at Scorpion's version, but it is not available in the states. I saw the Valiant and really liked its features.Some pros after 2000 miles of wearing it ( about 1.5 month of ride time, since its cold weather 15-25 F and snow weather ).1 The chin piece going all the way to the back and being streamlines is awesome! True 3\4 open face feeling.2 Visor is good size3 Quick Lock chin strap4 Came with Tinted visor also!5 Nice back pack and helmet bag along with something thats a neck brace... not sure on the neck brace. But the other stuff was a nice addition. Its not 30 day back pack, but its a nice back pack for your helmet if you are taking it with you when walking.6 Seems to have nice bluetooth speaker pockets, haven't installed my BT yet, but seems roomy.Cons1 Visor lift is in the middle top to lift it up. Thats pretty stupid if you ask me. Not sure why it isn't on the lower part like all other helmets. Yes it will take some time getting used to, but curious to how scratched it will get from me constantly trying to find the lip to lift the visor.2 Its noisy, compared to my Scorpion modular that DOES NOT lift behind the helmet. It was very noticeable. Honestly Its not much quieter with the chin piece down as it is with the chin up. Not sure how well the BT will work with the road noise. With Ear buds in, sound was greatly diminish compared to my Scorpion helmet.3 Button for chin piece is difficult to use. I can unlock it, but it seems to take alot of effort when riding. My Scorpion was simple push button and it just opened easily. This one hopefully will break in over time.Would I buy it again?Time will tell. I am really loving the flip chin piece. I have a Concours 14 with electric windscreen. I thought that would be a novel thing (e-windscreen) but I use the heck out of it. The the flip chin piece some might see that the same way, but I am a rider. Not uncommon for me to rid 60,000 + miles a year. I will say I will never own anything but a modular helmet ever again. This is my second modular. So comfort wise this helmet seem decent so far, and the flip chin is absolutely a game changer.Build and construction of the helmet seem very good. Nothing seemed cheap or flimsy. Helmet is NOT light weight, but NOT heavy either. For what it is, it works well weight wise for me.Just received this helmet. It fits like a glove. Very soft and comfortable. It has a lot more features than the avg sportmodular I am replacing. Will be going for a 5hr ride friday and heading back Sunday. Will try to update after using.I had the previous version which was noisier than this one but this version is not as oval shaped resulting in forehead pressure. Will see if it breaks in.I was expecting something more comfortable, I bought a L size and found out it's tight especially in the cheeks area.Overall fit good. A little tight in the cheeks. I wear glasses with no problems. The drop down visor works well.I really wanted to love this helmet. Bought it just before a ride halfway across the country. I have seen it before and liked the previous version. It was delivered promptly as promised and is packaged really nicely with more than enough bags and covers to protect it long term. The problem for me is fit. I have a medium-size head (Size 7 - 56 metric) But I knew I would have to size up for this helmet. Ordered a 2XL but it just would not fit properly. It was way too tight in the face, especially with the cowl down. Also, it seems to lack enough padding in the top and after wearing it around the house for about 15 minutes made the top of my head hurt just a little. This can easily be fixed by the wearer with some additional padding. The features and construction are really great and it works as advertised, but I just can't wear it. I did not use it on the trip and now, unfortunately, I will have to return it. Too bad because it does everything I want. If you have a thin face this will probably work well for you. However, if you have full or slightly chubby cheeks it probably will not.While the add promotes good air flow, it's not. This is the lightest modular helmet I've owned and the release mechanism for the visor makes it extremely easy and fast to remove and install..Worth every penny!Love it!OK ... I am officially "hooked" on this helmet.The design of the Valiant II is brilliant, to be honest. The manner in which the chin bar and face shield interact with each other is smooth and precise, much like the movement in a Swiss watch. It has the feel of quality. Shout-out to the sun visor .... a brilliant bit of engineering went into this design. I can tell. And by god, the sun viser is dark enough so that when you must ride towards a setting sun, you're not blinded by the Sun rays.Fit ... my previous helmet (HJC) I wore a 2XL. This was a snug fit on me. I decided to err on the side of caution, and "size up" to a 3XL when ordering my Valiant 2. I'm glad I did ... this is a perfect fit on my Oval noggin.Other Comments:I love this helmet, and it is really comfortable to wear, even on long rides. Good ventilation, and the pinlock really does work ... I'm impressed. Field of vision is excellent. Noise ... average, but I always wear earplugs. LS2 hit a Grand Slam home run with the Valiant II helmet. This helmet is extremely good value. Stop looking. I researched for months. This is the helmet you have been looking for.Inizialmente sembrava un ottimo prodotto comodo da indossare e quando lo chiudevo per usarlo come casco integrale non faceva ne rumore ne trafilava aria ma tutto questo e' durato 4 mesi, ora mi trovo un casco che anche se lo chiudo passa aria dappertutto sembra di avere un casco jet. Ma la cosa piu' brutta che sto cercando di contattare amazon ma non riesco a comunicare con nessuno per capire se e' un prodotto in garanzia o meno.Muy cómodo, y buena relación calidad-precio.Estéticamente precioso!Un pelín pesado como cualquier abatible pero puesto ni se nota.
