It was not a big crash, but my mountain bike spun out and I went down while going just a few MPH and clumsily went over the top and hit the side of my helmet/head on rocky ground. A little dent in the helmet proved to me that it did its job. However, this style of helmet leaves the soft area of your skull just above the ear exposed, and that hit the ground too, but barely and with no injury. Now, however, I'm considering getting a more encompassing helmet — the type that downhillers use that covers more of the back/side of the skull. Anyway, this helmet is feather light, very comfortable (I've owned several uncomfortable helmets in the past) and saved my bacon once so far.I purchased this because it fits my color scheme perfectly! My bike frame is desert beige and I chose this flat mossy green as my secondary color to go along with my Ergon Grips and pedals, all green. The helmet fit/comfort is the main downside. The rear adjustment is to thin and does bother me after a while. The side clips near the ears aren’t the best and sadly, I’m will soon be in the market for an upgrade. The helmet does look great though.Great fit, love the color. The inside snags my hair sometimes (I have long hair). Overall, no issues.we have purchased two of these - one for me and one for my husband. I think they protect your head well, fit comfortably, and has a little sun visor. My only issue is with long hair it gets wrapped around something inside and sometimes, when taking of helmet, it pulls or catches my hair. i try and untangle it as i take it off and know to take it off slowly. I think these exposed catchy areas should be covered.Seller shipped fast. Helmet is nice, but the plastic could use some felt or padding where it tightens on the head. I'll endure the plastic rubbing on the top of my neck for now but will have to modify something to make it more comfortable.I like the front visor, he is a little lower than most so it really helps to keep the sun out of your face.Not as comfortable as some lower end helmets I have owned in the past.Man of th helmets that I tried felt like plastic digging in to my head. Also, it is true flat black unlike other listings that say they are, but they are I’ll glossy black. Style is great too!Replacement for a crash damaged Giro MIPS helmet. Delivered quickly and is excellent quality. However, Although the head band is easily adjusted , the tilt is only movable between a couple of fixed positions and I find I’m having to push the visor up to improve my view while riding.I think it's a brilliant helmet for price. Measured circumference of my head and ordered corresponding size. Fits great. Lots of internal adjustment. Ordered the matte sage and it looks really good. Easily worth 50 odd pound.Very good value for a MIPS helmet. Good quality and great fitting.Es un casco que protege bien la zona de la nuca. Lleva el sistema mips. Muy ventilado.Buen ajuste con el dial.Por mencionar algo a mejorar la visera no se puede ajustar, y en la posicion que trae te obliga a extender el cuello.Al precio de 65 euros lo considera una muy buena compra.10/5/2021Tengo que decir que despues de una buena caida con fractura de costilla y contusion lumbar bastante fuerte el casco ha cumplido su funcion perfectamente. La carcasa exterior con pequeñas abolladuras y roto el poliestireno, pero mi cabeza indenme y perfecta. Compra muy recomendable.Después de un año de uso, creo que puedo describir lo que siento al llevarlo puesto. Es incómodo desde el primer día, sobretodo en la zona de la nuca con su modulo de apriete de plástico, que se te clava en función de si mueves más o menos la cabeza. Y olvídate de llevarlo con unas gafas puestas, ya que tiende a bajarse y las gafas terminan clavándose y bajándose, empujado por el casco.Una porquería de casco.
